Microneedling

Microneedling results in facial rejuvenation by the mechanical stimulation of collagen pruction in the superficial dermis.  It is a form of regenerative medicine in the sense that it stimulates the body to rejuvenate itself.   Microneedling is administered by a hand held device with a special array of fine needles.  The depth of treatment is carefully calibrated by the physician depending on the desired results.

I find the treatment highly effective when administered as a series of treatments .  It results in fine line correction, correction of superficial telangectasias, and correction of minor scarring.

Microneedling may also be combined with other agents such as dermal builders or proteins that promote the healing process.

Micronnedling is performed in our offices and it is comfortable.  A post-procedure care regimen will be provided at the time of treatment.
